Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen wants to bring back the buzz that surrounding the team back in the 90's to the city of Buffalo. After missing out on the playoffs in 17 straight seasons, the Bills have made the playoffs in two of the last three games. The Bills' last playoff win came in 1995, and after years of disappointment after disappointment, it seems that the team is finally ready to break that drought soon.

“I hear about it all the time about the early 90’s when J.K. (Jim Kelly) and Andre Reed and Thurman (Thomas) and Bruce (Smith) had that city buzzing,” Allen said in an interview with Sirius XM NFL Radio. “That’s really the feeling that we’re trying to get back, that we’re trying to bring back to Buffalo. You know, our team has the right mindset to do it here pretty soon. We’re looking forward to playing this year.”

The Bills made the Super Bowl four years in a row during the 90's, and even though they never won the Super Bowl, it was still a great time in Bills history.

One of the big problems for the Bills the last decade-plus has been the New England Patriots. With the Patriots in the division, it's been tough to be competitive. With Tom Brady out of the picture, some believe this is now the Bills' division. But Allen still thinks until they knock him out, New England is still the team to beat.

“With Tom being gone everybody sees there’s an opportunity but I still see the Patriots being the best team in the division right now,” Allen said. “They’ve been to the playoffs the last 20 years basically. Just because they lose one guy I don’t think it’s going to be that much of a difference
