Ever since he was traded to the Portland Trail Blazers, Jusuf Nurkic hasn't spoken too fondly of his former team, the Denver Nuggets.

Nurkic has never disparaged his former teammates and has always said nice things about them. But, when it comes to the organization's decision to bench him, Nurkic subtly threw a few shots at Nuggets coach Mike Malone, who apparently never talked to him about why he was riding the pine.

That may be the case again with Nurkic's recent Instagram post, where he celebrates the fact that he is finally playing for a team that is in the playoffs:

I'm very happy to be for the first time on a team that made to the playoffs. #ripcity #playoffs

Nurkic is only in his third season, so it's not unusual for him to have not made the playoffs yet. But, given Nurkic's past comments about the Nuggets, it does seem at least a little bit suspicious.

Plus, Nurkic may not even play in the playoffs, as he has been out for the last couple of weeks with a non-displaced fibular fracture in his right leg.

Perhaps we are reading too much into Nurkic's caption, as he could just be happy to be on a team that is in the playoffs. After all, that is a primary goal for many young players in the league.
