Thon Maker has been the butt of a lot of jokes since his age came into question leading up to the 2016 NBA Draft.

Maker, who is from Sudan, had his age listed at 19 heading into the draft. But then an Australian yearbook photo surfaced that suggested he might be as old as 24 or 25. A former high school coach from Canada came to the rescue, tweeting a photo of Maker’s Australian passport that said he was 19.

Speculation about his age may have hurt his draft stock in the eyes of a lot of teams, but not the Milwaukee Bucks who still drafted him 10th overall. Maker was impressive in Summer League but questions about how old he really is aren’t going away anytime soon.

Mavericks owner Mark Cuban joked that Maker “looked pretty good for a 40-year-old” during summer league, and now fellow rookie Jaylen Brown of the Boston Celtics is having fun with Maker.

Just savage.

Thon Maker will likely never escape this until he can somehow put to rest exactly how old he is. Even then the jokes should still come. But Jaylen Brown definitely nailed this one.
