The Denver Broncos have a pivotal game coming up against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 17. It's a must-win game for the 7-8 Broncos, which is why the recent COVID-19 setbacks on wide receiver Jerry Jeudy and linebacker Bradley Chubb hurt so much.

Both Broncos linebacker Bradley Chubb and wide receiver Jerry Jeudy are now very likely to miss the contest against the Chargers.

The Broncos' COVID situation was already bad, given that wide receiver Tim Patrick, tackle Bobby Massie and edge rusher Stephen Weatherby were all placed on the reserve/COVID list as well.

With Jeudy and Chubb, as well as quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, who is in the COVID protocols, all expected to be out, the Broncos are going to be very shorthanded against the Chargers in what amounts to a must-win game.

It's been a tough year for Chubb and Jeudy. The talented wideout raced out to a fast start in the first game of the year against the New York Giants before succumbing to an ankle injury.

Meanwhile, Chubb has battled ankle and shoulder injuries in what has amounted to a lost year for the former first-round pick.

The Broncos will really have to dig deep in Week 17 against the Chargers after the recent COVID update on Jerry Jeudy and Bradley Chubb.
