The Denver Broncos are excited to let Drew Lock have a full season as the starter in 2020 despite being limited in what they can do during the offseason due to the coronavirus. Even though he hasn't been with the team for more than a month, Jeff Driskel is already giving workout tips to Lock.

“Jeff sent me some of his workouts, some of his shoulder [and] arm stuff that he uses to stay in shape,” Lock said in a recent interview with Phil Milani of the team’s official website. “I’m starting to do a little bit of that.”

The coronavirus pandemic has put a hold on the offseason activities for NFL teams. Therefore, Lock has been unable to get a chance to do what he envisioned doing this offseason.

As a matter of fact, the second-year Broncos quarterback scheduled to have throwing sessions at the beginning of April. But with the coronavirus outbreak making travel unsafe, Lock was forced to cancel those sessions.

Near the beginning of free agency, the Broncos released Joe Flacco, leaving Lock as the only quarterback on Denver's roster. To replace Flacco, the Broncos brought in Jeff Driskel, who spent last season with the Detroit Lions.

Upon his arrival, Driskel has been aiding Lock in configuring ways to maximize his time while being quarantined. Despite entering his fifth season in the NFL, Driskel is a welcomed veteran presence for the Broncos. At the least, it's a positive sign that Driskel and Lock already have a talking relationship off of the field.
