It was a crazy week for the Denver Broncos and Jerry Jeudy. The young receiver was arrested on Thursday and is going through the necessary steps according to the law. We'll see how it all plays out, but based on reports, it doesn't sound like Jeudy will be losing any playing time in the 2022 season. Regardless, head coach Nathaniel Hackett finally speaks out on the situation.

According to Zac Stevens, Hackett claimed the Broncos are, “here to support him and move on from this.” That's about all Denver can do at this point, as Jerry Jeudy will have to attend court dates in the coming months. We'll see how it plays out, but everyone involved seems ready to forget about the arrest altogether.

The Broncos receiver was taken into custody on Thursday for locking his girlfriend's wallet and baby formula in a car when she wouldn't give him his phone back. Since then, Jeudy's girlfriend, “asked a judge on Friday to dismiss a misdemeanor case against him stemming from a dispute between them,” per Sports Net. She also claims that “she did not feel threatened during the incident and made contact with authorities to ‘monitor the situation.'”

With that in mind, this whole incident should be put to rest rather quickly. That will allow Jerry Jeudy and his family to continue with their lives while the Broncos can focus more on the upcoming season. Jeudy should play a major role in the offense this year, especially with Russell Wilson under center.
