The Denver Broncos' outlook for their future got a massive shove in the right direction when they traded for future Hall of Fame quarterback, Russell Wilson. Denver had been stuck in NFL purgatory, at best, ever since Peyton Manning rode off into the sunset. But just like that, adding Wilson has immediately pushed them into Super Bowl contention, according to odds on FanDuel.

Granted, the Broncos also added a key edge rusher in Randy Gregory, but Wilson is what moved the needle.

On Friday, the Broncos QB was asked by a camper if he will play the rest of his career with Denver.

“Yup, let's win some Super Bowls” Wilson responded.

Wilson is 33 years old and will turn 34 during the 2022-2023 season. Last year in Seattle, Wilson had arguably the worst season as a starter since his rookie year. He completed just 64.8 percent of his passes for only 3,113 yards passing. He only threw six interceptions, but also tossed just 25 touchdown passes. But much of that had to do with the issues around him.

Seattle's defense consistently put them in a hole. Their offensive line was swiss cheese and their running game was mostly non-existent. That is not going to be the case in Denver.

The Broncos have a top-10 defense, at the very least. They have two running backs that are very good in Melvin Gordon and Javonte Williams. The pass catchers are among the deepest in the league with Jerry Jeudy, Courtland Sutton and Tim Patrick.

Not only are the Broncos contenders this year, but as Wilson alluded to, they will be in the foreseeable future.
