Cleveland Browns wide receiver coach Chad O'Shea believes Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry are all-in when it comes to the team's pursuit of offensive excellence.

On a Zoom call on Wednesday, O'Shea said both star wideouts are focused on winning first, irrespective of individual accolades (via Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer):

“We’re going to try to put the team first and we’re going to try to put winning first … They realize that. They embrace that. They’re also aware that there are other players at other positions that will help us win games and who are capable of really helping us. Everybody’s role is kind of what you make it. I see it as a real good problem to have where you have a lot of opportunities and a lot of players that can really help us win.”

Both Beckham and Landry spent their respective offseason periods rehabbing after undergoing surgeries. But — in the absence of organized team workouts — O'Shea said both Beckham and Landry have been doing whatever is necessary to improve (via Cabot):

“They’ve really taken advantage of the opportunity … They’ve made a lot of progress. They’ve certainly made improvements and again, the goal is at some time that we’re able to throw and catch the ball around, but at this point, they are just following the plan that is in place.”

Beckham in particular has been especially vocal about his goals for this season. The former LSU product said last month he thinks he is on the verge of a career year.

Meanwhile, Landry revealed he dealt with his hip issue nearly all of last year. Considering he put up nearly 1,2000 yards receiving, a healthy version of Landry could be that much more effective for the Browns.

In any case, O'Shea is insistent both receivers will major assets in Kevin Stefanski's offense.
