The Cleveland Browns head into Week 3 action against the New York Jets on Thursday night looking to grab their win of the season.

Although the Browns having last won a game back on Christmas Eve of 2016, BetOnline.ag currently has pegged them as the three-point favorites to top the Jets.

The Browns have looked like a much-improved team through the first two weeks of the season with chances to win in both games if not for missed field goals by their former kicker Zane Gonzalez. Quarterback Tyrod Taylor has performed well enough to help push them in the right direction toward being in the position to get back into the win column. Taylor has passed for 443 yards on a 70.1 completion rate with two touchdown passes along with 103 rushing yards on 12 carries with a touchdown.

Cleveland has had their offseason additions step up with Pro Bowl wide receiver lead the way with 12 catches for 175 receiving yards while running back Carlos Hyde has tallied 105 rushing yards on 38 carries with a pair of touchdowns. Rookie wide receiver Antonio Callaway stepped up in a big spot with Josh Gordon out of the picture making three catches for 81 receiving yards and a touchdown against the New Orleans Saints last Sunday.

However, it will be the play of their defense that will be key in helping them earn their first win. The Browns are facing a rookie quarterback in Sam Darnold, who has shown to be a bit turnover prone through his first two starts despite showing flashes of promise as he's thrown three interceptions along with a fumble. This makes Cleveland's performance defensively against Darnold will be a major determining factor in how Thursday's game will play out.
