Ex-Houston Texans and current Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson has constantly been in the headlines during the offseason. First, there were trade rumors swirling around his name as the NFL waited for the decision on his legal case, which involved allegations of sexual assault. Watson was cleared of any criminal charges, which immediately kickstarted a wild trade frenzy for the Pro Bowler's services. He was traded to the Browns, then immediately signed a monster contract, which shocked many around the league. On Thursday, it was reported that a grand jury in Harris County, Texas met to hear the evidence of another complaint against Watson, with the case having the potential to impact Watson's season with the Browns. A decision was made on the same day, as the grand jury decided not to indict the Browns' signal-caller on the criminal charge, as reported by Brooks Kubena of the Houston Chronicle.

Watson won't face any criminal charges. The Browns quarterback was accused of sexually assaulting a woman during a massage therapy session but a second grand jury in a different county from the first ultimately found him not guilty.

This appears to be the end of Watson's legal troubles, though it remains to be seen what kind of punishment- if any- the league decides to levy on him.

Watson signed a five-year, $230 million contract after being acquired by the Browns. Even if he faces a suspension, the ex-Texans quarterback won't take much of a financial hit, thanks to the way his contract is constructed.
