Jason McCourty had a lot to say about recent allegations towards Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam. The free safety spoke about Hue Jackson's tanking allegations from his time as the head coach of the Browns.

Now on the Miami Dolphins, Jason gave his perspective on the situation as a player on the 0-16 Browns team.

Patriots beat reporter shared a very telling quote from Jason regarding the allegations.

“I was in Cleveland in 2017. There's no way we were trying to win. It was very obvious. That is to no surprise of anyone,” Jason said. He shared the insider perspective on the podcast he does with his brother Devin, who is a safety with the New England Patriots.

This is all in reference to Hue Jackson's tweets from Tuesday when he said that Browns owner Jimmy Haslam was “very happy” when the 2017 team kept losing. One Twitter user questioned the integrity of Jackson's tweet, saying that he would be rich if he made $100 thousand for every time the Browns lost.

Jackson did not say that he was offered $100 thousand for each loss like Brian Flores did during his time with the Miami Dolphins. He did, however, respond by tweeting: “Trust me it was a good number!”

Later in the week, he spoke on ESPN and said that his losing incentives with the Browns maxed out at $750 thousand, which went right into his checking account.
