The Cleveland Browns fell to 2-3-1 following their loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, and their defeat has head coach Hue Jackson vocal about his desires.

The Browns struggled to get anything going through the air versus the Chargers. According to Steve Doerschuk of the Canton Rep, Jackson acknowledged Cleveland's need for more help in the receiving corps:

Afterward, someone asked Hue Jackson if the team needs help at receiver.

“We do,” the head coach said.

There is certainly plenty of truth to Jackson's comments. The receiving corps left quarterback Baker Mayfield out to dry on a number of occasions. As a result, he completed just 22-of-46 passes for 238 yards, a touchdown, and two interceptions.

The chargers clearly ramped up their efforts to limit wide receiver Jarvis Landry. They did a marvelous job of containing Landry after holding him to just two receptions for 11 yards. Cleveland's leading receiver on the day was Damion Ratley, who finished with six receptions for 82 yards.

Jackson's comments are a bit ironic considering all the wideouts the Browns parted ways with this season. Cleveland recently traded wide receiver Josh Gordon to the New England Patriots. Although Gordon had not been the answer for the Browns during his tenure, he has seemed to find his footing with the Patriots. A player of Gordon's caliber would certainly be of great use to Mayfield right about now. Cleveland's receiving corps will have a chance to find their footing against a porous Tampa Bay Buccaneers secondary in Week 7.
