The Cleveland Browns infamously acquired former New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to really kick off the team's 2019 offseason. As one would expect, Browns general manager John Dorsey is quite thrilled to have OBJ in the fold alongside former LSU Tigers teammate Jarvis Landry and franchise quarterback Baker Mayfield:

“You can’t have enough passionate, competitive guys on your football team,” Dorsey recently told Mike Florio of NBC Sports' ProFootballTalk. “Here’s a guy that shows up, loves the game of football and his teammates love him. To me, that speaks volumes when your teammates rave about you because that shows the mark of who this person really is.”

While it is no secret that Beckham would like to restructure his current contract, a pact that he originally signed with the aforementioned Giants, Dorsey remains interested in sitting down with the prolific pass catcher face-to-face in order to hash everything out way ahead of time:

“I want to sit down face to face and, just, let’s talk about this,” Dorsey said. “Let’s talk about who you are. Let’s talk about who the Cleveland Browns are and let’s move this thing forward in a positive direction.”

With Beckham now officially on board, the Browns will no doubt enter the 2019 season as the favorite to win the AFC North. With the Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals taking turns reaching the postseason over the years, it finally appears to be the time to shine in Cleveland.
