In the last several months, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon has become an open book in detailing his past personal life involving his drug addictions that he has continued to work to put behind him.

According to Ben Baskin of Sports Illustrated, Gordon revealed that he was selling marijuana during his time in college at Baylor. During his time selling drugs, he made upwards of $10,000 per month through the mail.

As a sophomore at Baylor he says he was receiving as much as six pounds of weed—vacuum-sealed and wrapped in Mylar, sprayed with kerosene and covered in coffee beans to mask the smell, shipped through U.S. mail—every week from a dealer back home. He would drive to Dallas, Austin and San Antonio to sell it, and he estimates he was bringing in upward of $10,000 in profit every month. He was arrested for possession in fall 2010 and one year later was indefinitely suspended for failing a school drug test.

This latest admission by the 26-year-old falls in line with much of what he has already revealed to the public by stating that marijuana use was a daily occurrence. It also speaks to how unstable things had become during his collegiate career that never truly had a strong sense of direction.

It was a time period that saw things get out of control that eventually led to issues further festering once he reached the NFL. He now appears to have reached a point where everything seems to be in order with his sole focus on rekindling his professional football career.

Gordon is on track to play in the Browns' Week 13 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers, which will mark his first game since December 2014.
