Right now, Deshaun Watson is set to take the field as the Cleveland Browns' starting quarterback this season. Watson signed a five-year, $230 million guaranteed contract with the Browns after he was found not guilty of the 22 sexual misconduct lawsuits against him.

However, Watson's starting quarterback status could change with a potential suspension from the league itself. The possibility looms over the Browns while new details and accusations surface. The New York Times just released an article claiming that Watson received massages from at least 66 different women over 17 months. The information throughout the article completely contradicts what Watson has publicly stated on his case.

Regardless, the team is moving forward with Watson and expects him to be their QB1 for the upcoming season. While he didn't say much, Kevin Stefanski told reporters that his opinion is “respectful of the investigation.”

Cleveland reporter Carly Mascitti tweeted his blunt comment on the situation Wednesday afternoon.

He added that he believes Watson is focusing on his job as the quarterback of the Browns.

“You come to work and you gotta work, make sure you focus on your job… and I think that’s what he’s doing.”

Meanwhile, the Browns excused Baker Mayfield from minicamp, as the former starter looks to be traded from Cleveland. If Watson is suspended from playing in the NFL for any amount of time, it's unclear who would take over as the interim QB1.
