Sunday is usually a day for reflection and Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb did exactly that after their heartbreaking loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.

It was a high-octane affair between the two squads, with the result not being decided until the last two minutes. The Chargers escaped with a 47-42 win, sealed by Austin Ekeler's three-yard score with only 1:31 left in the clock. The Browns had several chances to take the victory, but their late-game efforts proved to be futile.

After the loss, which dropped the Browns to 3-2, Chubb couldn't help but be frustrated and admitted they have no one to blame but themselves (via Browns reporter Nate Ulrich).

For what it's worth, Chubb would be the last person to blame though as he rushed for 161 yards in arguably his finest game of the young season. The Browns veteran went over 100 yards for the 19th time in his solid career after a 52-yard sprint in the third quarter, extending their lead to 27-13.

The Chargers, however, went on a furious rally, and the Browns couldn't recover in the end. According to ESPN, the game had eight lead changes, including four in the final 15 minutes when the teams combined for 41 points.

Aside from Chubbs, quarterback Baker Mayfield also had a fine showing for the Browns with numbers of 23-for-32, 305 yards and two touchdowns.

The Browns will try to bounce back next Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals.
