Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has been dealing with a groin issue for much of the season, and the injury made him a limited participant in practice on Wednesday, according to Nate Ulrich of The Akron Beacon Journal.

This shouldn't be too alarming for Browns fans, as Beckham has been limited in practice as a result of the groin problem for quite some time now.

Beckham is coming off of a rather unproductive Week 13 effort, as he logged just three catches for 29 yards in a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

It was the latest lackluster effort in what has been a disappointing 2019 campaign overall for Beckham, as the star wide out has caught 57 passes for 805 yards and just a pair of touchdowns through 12 games.

Bad numbers? Hardly, but it is certainly not what Cleveland was hoping for when it traded a first-round draft pick, a third-rounder and young safety Jabrill Peppers to acquire him from the New York Giants back in March.

Beckham, who played his collegiate football at LSU, was originally selected by the Giants with the 12th overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft and made the Pro Bowl in each off his first three seasons.

However, in 2017 and 2018, the 27-year-old played in just 16 games combined due to various injuries.

Of course, Beckham has definitely not been the only underachieving member of the Browns this season, as Cleveland has been one of the league's most disappointing teams as a whole.

The Browns are just 5-7 and are seeing their playoff hopes fade ahead of their Week 14 matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals.
