Even though the Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost in the 2o22 NFL playoffs to the Los Angeles Rams, the drama continues to unfold for this franchise. The team is focused on Tom Brady's decision to return, however, it seems another problem has arrived. After the Week 17 debacle involving Antonio Brown, the troubled star receiver intends to sue the team.

According to ESPN, “Antonio Brown and his attorney, Sean Burstyn, said Tuesday they intend to pursue legal action against the team for releasing Brown after he said he was too injured to continue playing against the New York Jets earlier this month and claimed coach Bruce Arians ignored his pleas to not reenter the game.” So far, it's been a he said/they said scenario, but this is not ideal for the Buccaneers.

Since the iconic moment in football history, Antonio Brown has been seen nearly everywhere talking about the incident. The Buccaneers, however, have been completely silent after officially releasing him from the roster. Brown claims Tampa Bay attempted to spin the story into being a “mental health episode.” Whereas, the superstar receiver claims he was too injured to play and was told to leave the field.

We'll see how this all plays out. A simple fix would be to listen in on the recording of what happened on the Buccaneers' sidelines that day. Considering every NFL game has cameras and microphones everywhere, it's not unfathomable to believe a recording exists. Even so, nothing has been shared as of yet.

Look for news and updates to continue sprouting up as the Antonio Brown vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers' saga won't be ending anytime soon.
