Bruce Arians' conditions for bringing Antonio Brown to Tampa last season were clear from the start: one mistake and you're out. The troubled wide receiver was given a lifeline by the Bucs, and he rewarded them with his solid play on the field, as well as avoiding trouble off it. That was until the wide receiver was handed a three-game suspension after he submitted a fake vaccination card to the organization.

Despite Arians' prior warning, Brown remains on the team. When asked about why he backtracked on his previous condition, Arians said that a lot had changed since he made that statement, and that he was “very proud” of Brown last year, via Greg Auman.

Brown did manage to stay out of trouble upon joining the Bucs last season, so perhaps Arians had decided his change in character was enough for him to lift the conditions in which he acquired the embattled veteran.

Brown's stance was also aided by the loss of Chris Godwin, who will miss the remainder of the season after sustaining a torn ACL. With Leonard Fournette and Mike Evans also banged up, it's an inopportune time for the Buccaneers to part ways with a player over disciplinary issues. Thus, Arians is opting to keep Brown on board.

Perhaps he will change tune if Brown is involved in another incident, but until then, AB will remain in a Tampa Bay Buccaneers uniform.

This season with the Bucs, Brown has recorded 29 receptions for 418 yards and four touchdowns across five games. With the season narrowing down and injuries causing players to drop like flies, keeping AB around makes the most sense for Arians and Co.
