The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were crippled by injuries during their Week 15 loss to the New Orleans Saints, and now it looks as if they'll be down some key players in Week 16, too. Already without Chris Godwin and Leonard Fournette, head coach Bruce Arians ruled both Mike Evans and Antoine Winfield Jr. out for Sunday's Week 16 clash against the rival Carolina Panthers, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

This is a big blow on both sides of the ball for the Bucs. Quarterback Tom Brady will now be without his top three targets on Sunday, as Evans, Godwin, and Fournette have combined for 231 receptions this season. With that trio on the mend, Brady will be working with the likes of Rob Gronkowski and Antonio Brown as his top two weapons.

On the season, Evans has 64 receptions on 100 targets, having racked up 899 receiving yards and 11 touchdown receptions, serving as a critical component in the Bucs' offensive scheme. He'd been battling his hamstring injury throughout the week and it seems that he won't be able to rest up in time for Week 16's showdown.

As for Winfield, the second-year DB has been an every-week starter for the Bucs in 2021, though he missed Week 15 with a foot injury, and also missed two weeks earlier in the year with a separate injury. Winfield's foot injury has kept him out of practice over the past two weeks, and thus he has been ruled out for Sunday's rivalry game. In addition to Evans and Winfield, the Bucs' latest injury report featured a handful of key players including Lavonte David, Jamel Dean, Richard Sherman, and more.
