Rob Gronkowski admits he has only two options when it comes to his NFL future: retire or return to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, there is one way the Bucs could entice him to play again for another year.

Speaking from his draft festivities in Las Vegas, Gronk joked that if the Buccaneers were able to get Julian Edelman out of retirement, he'll re-sign in a heartbeat.

“If Julian [Edelman] signs with the Bucs right now, I'm coming back for a whole other year,” Gronkowski said, per Sports Illustrated.

While the prospect of Julian Edelman, Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady playing together once again is enticing, that might be difficult to pull off. After all, Edelman himself has vowed that he is a one-team player.

All hope is not lost for the Buccaneers in their Gronk chase, though. The veteran tight end is just weighing whether he wants to continue playing or not, and if he decides he wants to give it another go, he has already given his commitment to the team.

For now, Brady and co. just have to wait for a little bit longer to get more clarity on Gronkowski's future. He is enjoying his time off, and he certainly deserves that after being a crucial cog for Tampa Bay in the past couple of years.
