The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' injury woes have continued as star pass rusher Shaq Barrett has a sprained ACL and MCL in his knee. While he is out for the next two games, the team is hopeful that Barrett will be back in the mix come playoff time.

Losing him for the entirety of the campaign, playoffs included, would've been a massive blow to their defense. Barrett had four tackles on Sunday in Tampa's big 32-6 win over the Carolina Panthers before exiting in the second half with the injury.

Considering it's just a sprain, it shouldn't take too long to heal. Barrett is one of the most feared linebackers in the game, registering 10 sacks in 2021 and 37 solo tackles. He's a huge part of this Buccaneers team and they will need him healthy if another Super Bowl run is going to be in the cards.

Despite the absences in Week 16, particularly out wide as Mike Evans remains out while Chris Godwin is sidelined for the rest of the season, Tom Brady still managed to do work. Most of their offensive damage came on the ground, but Antonio Brown had a big game for the Buccaneers in his return, grabbing 10 catches for 101 yards.

Tampa will be praying Barrett can have a speedy recovery.
