Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers suffered a brutal loss when Chris Godwin tore his ACL in last Sunday's loss to the New Orleans Saints. Brady was upset with the hit that took out Godwin and now has to deal with playing without one of his top receivers for the remainder of the season as the Buccaneers try to repeat as Super Bowl champions.

Brady knows it's going to be impossible to fully replace Godwin, but there are no excuses:

The Buccaneers still have a loaded roster even without Godwin, though there are other injuries the team is also dealing with. Leonard Fournette is out for the rest of the regular season, prompting the signing of Le'Veon Bell. Mike Evans is also banged up. Tampa Bay is getting Antonio Brown back from his suspension, though, and Rob Gronkowski is in the fold.

Brady and Co. are looking to bounce back from Godwin's injury and the brutal offensive showing against New Orleans. The Buccaneers were shut out in shocking fashion, with Brady putting forth his worst performance of the season. He entered the game with a league-leading 36 touchdown passes but failed to get Tampa Bay in the end zone.

The loss dropped the Buccaneers to 10-4 on the season, delivering a blow to their chances for the No. 1 seed in the NFC. They'll now have to forge on ahead without Godwin. Next up is a game against the Carolina Panthers.
