Tampa Bay Buccaneers superstar Tom Brady clears the air to explain what really happened during that head-turning post-game presser on Sunday. Brady was fresh from a tough 29-19 loss against the Washington Football Team and didn't really want to spend time talking about it right then and there.

The seven-time Super Bowl champ spent less than two minutes with the media after the loss and he tried to offer some perspective to the day after all the ruckus. He even added a few jokes just to remind everyone to not take things of context:

“When you're in the middle of the fight and it's the seventh round of the fight, it's hard to take a step back 'cause you feel like you want to go out there and slug it out again,” the Buccaneers QB shared on a SiriusXMNFL podcast (via Greg Auman of The Athletic). “I wish there was a lot of great to come from losing and there is when you take a couple of days, but sometimes you catch me on a Monday, you really [piss] me off. Just kidding, you don't really piss me off.”

Perspective – that's what Brady is preaching. According to the five-time Super Bowl champion, it's still a bit challenging for him to deal with all the expectations even after achieving so much. Per Brady, as much as he enjoys playing the game, it also gets tough for someone like him to enjoy the little things about the sport which he tries so hard to remind himself of – especially on those bad days.
