Behind every successful man is a great woman. For Tampa Bay Buccaneers star Tom Brady that couldn't be any truer.

Brady had a very challenging year in 2007 when he was still with the New England Patriots. He had his first child with his former girlfriend Bridget Moynahan but he was also having a budding relationship with Gisele Bundchen. While logic would dictate that Bundchen wouldn't be too happy with the unique setup, Brady said she was more than gracious.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion, however, admitted he had doubts (via New York Post).

Brady, now 44, said that when his son arrived in the summer of 2007, he “got pretty anxious” about living in Boston, whereas Moynahan was out west. On top of his burgeoning romance with Bundchen, Brady pondered, “How is this all going to play out?”

Well, it did. Brady married Bundchen in 2009 and they now have an extended family with three kids, including Brady's child with Moynahan. With the way things have panned out, it's a little surprising to know that Brady, the man who solves problems, wasn't so sure at the onset.

But he is well aware that he won't have the legendary career he has if not for Bundchen, who has always been his rock.

“She’s just been an incredible supporter of mine on the field, off the field, and I learned so much about her in an early part of our relationship.”

Tom Brady and the Buccaneers are looking to defend their crown and are leading the NFC South with a 1o-3 record.
