It seems like half of the league is rumored to be interested in trading for Deshaun Watson. One of those teams happens to be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who are searching for someone to replace Tom Brady. We'll see how it all plays out, but Tampa Bay sounds like they're serious about acquiring the star quarterback.

According to ESPN, “one NFC exec said, ‘I think Tampa is a major threat,'” in regards to the team acquiring Deshaun Watson. It'd be a brilliant move for the Buccaneers, as they would seamlessly go from Brady to Watson. However, it will be a difficult move, as the Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints have both shown interest in the disgruntled quarterback as well.

With Deshaun Watson being cleared of criminal charges, teams across the league are all-in on trading for him. He could still face suspension from the NFL though, as Watson still must handle the civil lawsuits filed against him for sexual assault. Regardless, the star quarterback aims to play for a new franchise next year and the Buccaneers are in the mix.

“The Buccaneers have been on Watson's radar as he looks for the best chance to win, along with young dynamic players and a head coach who gels with him,” per ESPN. This makes sense considering the reason Deshaun Watson grew frustrated with the Houston Texans was because of their lack of success over the years.

Keep an eye on Deshaun Watson as his name will be mentioned frequently in trade rumors until a deal has been made. The Buccaneers must find a way to replace Tom Brady, making Watson a high priority for this franchise. Whoever trades for the star quarterback will likely be placed as early favorites to make the playoffs next season.
