The Tampa Bay Buccaneers hinted at a uniform change for the 2020 season with a video that was dropped on their official Twitter account.

In the video, the artist is seen looking through newspaper clippings that “Uniform Effort,” “Return to Glory,” “Bucs' new uniforms mold old with new,” “A Bold New Era” and “Wait No More.”

The organization isn't officially commenting on the uniform changes, but it sure seems the team will be making some changes. In 2014 the Buccaneers changed away from the classic uniform that the team had worn for the previous 14 years. The uniforms at the time drew a lot of criticism from fans, so maybe the team is going back to the classics.

So the next big question for the Buccaneers is who will be under center wearing that uniform Week 1? Many believe the team will move on from Jameis Winston, but Carson Palmer thinks that would be a mistake.

Palmer knows how hard of a system Bruce Arians has, and he thinks Winston would take a big step forward in year two with the Buccaneers:

“Just the experience of being in that system and having an offseason to go back and watch himself play 16 times and learn from his mistakes… I mean, there was a lot of yards. I think he led the league in yards. He had [33] touchdown passes, but he threw 30 picks. I don’t know how many picks I threw in my first year, but it was a bunch in [Arians’] system. Because there is no easy throws in that system. There is no three-step game. Everything is long, deep, play-action, five-step, seven-step drops, posts, digs, deep down-the-field, long-developing plays. It’s a really, really difficult offense to come into in year one and just light the league on fire. If Jameis is back, I expect those picks to be cut in half and he’ll throw for 5,000 yards again easy in that system.”

It seems big changes are coming for the Buccaneers, and the uniforms could just be the start.
