Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is continuing to workout with his teammates, even though the NFLPA sent out a memo advising players to stop group workouts.

Kevin O'Donnell of Fox 13 out of Tampa Bay got video of Brady on the field Thursday working out with his crew. Bucs wide receiver Mike Evans is one of the players included in the group according to O'Donnell.

Brady posted a picture on Instagram a few days back standing next to Rob Gronkowski with the caption “no excuses.” It's clear that Brady has heard the recommendation, but he isn't too concern, he wants to continue working out with his teammates.

There has been a rising number of positive COVID-19 cases from players working out together, which prompted NFLPA medical director, Dr. Thom Mayer, to issue a statement asking players to stop group workouts.

“It is our consensus medical opinion that in light of the increase in Covid-19 cases in certain states that no players should be engaged in practicing together in private workouts. We are working on the best mitigation procedures at team facilities for both training camps and the upcoming season, and believe that it is in the best interest of all players that we advise against any voluntary joint practices before training camp commences.”

Who knows if anything bad will come from Brady working out with his teammates, but if something does, there is probably going to be some second-guessing of Brady's decision to continue working out against expert's advice.
