The Bucks won their first NBA championship in 50 years. The team celebrated their championship with a parade in Milwaukee on July 22.

Milwaukee will be the first NBA team to visit the White House since 2016 when LeBron James and the Cavs traveled to DC. Previous champions of the league decided not to attend the White House while former President Donald Trump was in office.

The Bucks have had quite the summer and fall while being champions. After winning the title they had a parade, Giannis Antetokounmpo took the trophy to Greece, then they had a ring ceremony, and will now visit the White House.

President Biden honored the Bucks after they won the championship.

Milwaukee was one of the vocal teams in the NBA bubble and even protested one of the games due to violence against black people in this country. George Hill, who rejoined the team this summer was the voice of the squad.

The Bucks are 3-2 on the season while they have battled injuries throughout the first five games. They are one of the favorites to win the championship again.
