Former Chicago Bulls and Minnesota Timberwolves head coach Tom Thibodeau doesn't think Giannis Antetokounmpo will ever leave the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Bucks can sign Antetokounmpo to the supermax extension in the summer of 2020. Some around the league believe if the Bucks don't at least get to the NBA Finals next season, Giannis will turn the supermax extension down from Milwaukee.

Thibodeau, however, doesn't see that happening and thinks The Greek Freak wants to win in Milwaukee.

“I don't think he'll ever leave Milwaukee,” Thibs said on ESPN's Get Up on Monday. “I think he wants to do it there. What he's done for that franchise, even last year in the playoffs to take the Celtics to seven games and to see his growth this year and what he's doing for that franchise, it says a lot about him and he's 24-years-old. His impact on winning is phenomenal.”

Antetokounmpo will make $25,842,697 next season. He led the Bucks to 60 wins this season. Milwaukee lost to the Toronto Raptors in six games in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Giannis has said multiple times he hates big market cities like Los Angeles and New York and wants to spend his entire career with the Bucks. Antetokounmpo is a finalist for the 2019 MVP award. He averaged 27.7 points, 12.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game while shooting 57.8 percent from the floor and 72.9 percent from the free-throw line.
