Giannis Antetokounmpo took an elbow to the head in the Milwaukee Bucks' Saturday night game against the Orlando Magic. He said he blacked out after taking the elbow, but he is showing no signs of a concussion yet.

NBA fans should be happy to see that Antetokounmpo's scary moment after getting hit with the elbow is nothing major. Concussions are becoming a growing issue in professional sports. Teams are — rightfully — proceeding with caution concerning any type of head injury.

Antetokounmpo is playing at an MVP level and has led the Bucks to an undefeated record early on this season. The Greek Freak is doing it all on the court and the Bucks can't afford to lose him this season. Of course, guys like Khris Middleton are having really nice seasons, but Antetokounmpo is the straw that stirs the drink for Mike Budenholzer's squad.

Giannis is averaging a ridiculous 25.0 points, 14.2 rebounds, 5.7 assists, and 1.7 blocks per game. This short stretch could be the best stretch of basketball Antetokounmpo has ever played in the league. Head coach Mike Budenholzer is letting him handle the ball and attack defenses downhill as opposed to Jason Kidd's style of getting Antetokounmpo the ball at the mid-to-high post and allowing him to operate.

Middleton is also shooting way more 3s, and the Bucks are thriving because of these subtle changes to their game plan. They'll need Giannis at his best all season and, luckily, the knock to his head is nothing long-term to be concerned about.
