Giannis Antetokounmpo will take his game back to the 1980s style of basketball if it means evening the field with the Boston Celtics. The Milwaukee Bucks star bounced back from a poor Game 1 performance to score 29 points and grab 10 rebounds and tie the series up at 1-1.

The Celtics have been plenty physical in containing guys like Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton, but the Greek Freak knows he and his teammates must play with the same intensity and physicality to have a fair shot to win.

“You can play to the limits of fouling,” he said, according to Vincent Goodwill of NBC Sports Chicago. “They definitely play to the limits of [flagrant] fouling.”

“Now, you gotta f***ing play. You can't complain to the refs, you gotta play.”

The Bucks put up an offensive clinic in the second half, as four out of five starters wound up with double digits by the end of the game (Nikola Mirotic scored nine in 3-of-10 shooting).

Antetokounmpo paraded to the foul line, making 13 of his 18 shots at the stripe, along with two of his four 3-point attempts to keep the Celtics honest.

It will be up to Milwaukee, however, to keep up that physical play as the series swings to the TD Garden for the next two games.

The Celtics stole game 1 with rousing success, but the Bucks must do the same to retain their home court advantage after winning an NBA-best 60 games in the regular season.
