Shaquille O'Neal recently gave away the “Superman” nickname to Giannis Antetokounmpo, and the Milwaukee Bucks star is already living up to it on and off the court.

As wildfires continue to ravage his native Greece, specifically Athens, the Bucks forward stepped up like a true MVP to help the victims who were evacuated from their homes. The wildfires have been rampaging since Tuesday and have even reached residential areas going into its fifth day.

Now, according to reports by local media in Greece, Antetokounmpo took action and provided 87 hotel rooms to accommodate the victims of the wildfires.

To recall, Giannis Antetokounmpo also canceled his NBA celebration in Athens due to the wildfire. However, that didn't stop him from taking care of his countrymen.

Giannis is fresh from winning the NBA championship with the Bucks, defeating the Phoenix Suns in the grueling Finals in late July. He was hailed as the NBA Finals MVP, adding more to his accolades that already include two regular-season MVP awards and a Defensive Player of the Year honor.

It's certainly an incredible gesture for Giannis to extend a helping hand in these tough times. He is already the pride of his country, but his latest act of kindness will only make him loved even more.
