Jrue Holiday has nothing but respect for Chris Paul, but the Milwaukee Bucks star just couldn't help poking fun of the age of the Phoenix Suns vet.

During their media session on Monday ahead of Game 1 of the NBA Finals, Holiday talked about Paul's influence to the game and to the younger generation of hoopers. After all, the Suns star is called the Point God for a reason.

In a funny twist, though, Jrue just had to hilariously emphasize he's not saying Paul is an old man.

“I think everybody, as a kid, had seen Chris Paul play. But I'm not saying he's old,” the Bucks guard said while laughing at his last remark, per Mark Medina of USA Today.

For what it's worth, Chris Paul is already  36 years old and in his 16th season in the NBA. Jrue Holiday is not that far, though, as he is already  31 years old and has 12 years of NBA experience.

However, the Bucks playmaker is not entirely wrong when he said a lot of players today have watched CP3 growing up. To put that into perspective, Suns star Devin Booker is only 24 years old, which means he was around  8 or 9 when Paul was drafted by the New Orleans Hornets fourth overall in 2005.

Jrue is not saying he's old–but he really is old considering a lot of his draft mates are already retired.
