There's no denying that the Milwaukee Bucks had a disappointing end to their season last term. For his part, Bucks All-Star forward Khris Middleton recently opened up about his frustrations while inside the bubble.

Middleton admitted that looking back at the disappointment of the previous campaign leaves him somewhat irate:

“You sit back and you reflect and you think about the missed opportunity we had in the bubble and the season before and you get a little bit angry,' Middleton said, via Andrew Wagner of Wisconsin State Jou0rnal. “You have to use that as fuel and motivation for the upcoming season.”

The Bucks entered the season as one of the favorites to win the title. They lived up to the high expectations by once again leading the league during the regular season. Come playoff time, however, Milwaukee was ultimately ousted by the Miami Heat in the East Finals.

That's all water under the bridge now for Middleton, though. Right now, his focus remains on the upcoming season. The Bucks have made some big moves in the offseason, and Middleton believes that they have the tools to finally succeed at the highest level:

“I think we're a great team and we added a lot of nice pieces that can help us improve and get to that goal,” Middleton said. “I'm excited for the season.”

From a personal standpoint, Khris Middleton had his best season as a pro last year. The 6-foot-7 swingman averaged career-best numbers across the board with 20.9 points (on 49.7 percent shooting), 6.2 rebounds, and 4.3 assists, while also connecting on 2.4 triples per game on a highly-efficient 41.5-percent clip. This deservedly resulted in Middleton's second consecutive call-up to the All-Star squad.
