Milwaukee Bucks small forward Giannis Antetokounmpo is starting 2019 off with a bang, and Detroit Pistons big man Jon Leuer was on the wrong end of it.

The Bucks are hosting the Pistons on Tuesday in a Central Division battle, and Giannis Antetokounmpo welcomed Jon Leuer to the New Year with an absolutely monster poster dunk:

Apparently Jon Leuer didn't get the memo. Giannis Antetokounmpo is not to be messed with when he's going downhill towards the basket. Pistons head coach Dwane Casey probably wouldn't have even been mad at Leuer had he just moved out the way, because there is no one in the world who is going to stop The Greek Freak when he's about to dunk the ball with force.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is having an amazing season for Milwaukee. The two-time All-Star entered Tuesday averaging 26.6 points, 12.8 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game while shooting 58.6 percent from the field. It's plays just like the one above that make you jump out of your seat and remember that Giannis is just 24-years-old. This kid is well on his way to becoming the best player in the NBA, sooner rather than later.

Jon Leuer actually began his NBA career with the Bucks. Maybe Giannis Antetokounmpo should have shown him some mercy on the first day of 2019.
