The campaign for Zach LaVine's first All-Star stint has officially begun through none other than Chicago-native Dwyane Wade. The Chicago Bulls standout has been snubbed from the All-Star Game for years now even if LaVine has been dropping insane scoring numbers as the Windy City squad's main gunner.

Now that the two-time Slam Dunk champion has again been scoring at a ridiculous rate in his seventh season in the NBA, Wade is making sure that the league and its fans get it right this year by putting LaVine in the ASG conversation as early as now.

The three-time champ took to Twitter to officially start the Zach LaVine All-Star campaign:

To which the Bulls leading scorer responded with nothing but a couple of praying hands emojis:

LaVine has thrived in the Windy City ever since making the move from Minnesota in 2017. After averaging just 16.7 points per game in his first season with the Bulls, which was cut short due to injury, LaVine's growth has been exponential.

The 25-year-old took things a notch higher the following season with an average of 23.7 points per game which, again, he exceeded come the 2019-20 campaign where he was scoring 25.5 points per game.

17 games into the 2020-21 season, “Young Hollywood” is at it again. LaVine, as of this writing, finds himself at the eighth spot in the league in terms of scoring at 27 points per game, right above the league's reigning MVP in Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks.

He's had eight 30+ point games so far including a 45-point explosion against the L.A. Clippers where he knocked down a season-high 10 treys.
