Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan's memorabilia continues to skyrocket several years after he has retired from the league. Most recently, a rookie card of his, tagged as a ‘1986-1987 Michael Jordan Fleer', reportedly sold for a whopping $150,000 price tag at Robert Edward Auctions.

The first bid started at $25,000 and reached the last bid after 51 entries. It was also the steepest price ever paid for a rookie card of Michael Jordan which was graded PSA 10.

Moreover, also going up in the market is a 1986-1987 Fleer Basketball unopened wax box which consisted of 36 card packs which started at a bid of $25,000 and was ultimately sold at $126,000 after 39 bids. The box remained in mint condition to this day, similar to its appearance when it first appeared on the market in 1986.

Aside from NBA cards, the Bulls legend's jerseys continue to attract avid collectors to this day. His threads used in Boston Celtics legend Larry Bird's charity game started with a bid of $10,000 and was reportedly sold for $46,800 after 41 bids. The charity game was entitled “Larry's Game” which was held at Bird's home state in Indianapolis, Indiana back on June 26, 1988.

The charity exhibition match aimed to raise funds to support impoverished students for college in Indiana. The Red team consisted of Jordan, Isiah Thomas from the Detroit Pistons, and Dominique Wilkins from the Atlanta Hawks, among others. Their opponents in the White team were headlined by Bird, Magic Johnson from the Los Angeles Lakers, and Ron Harper from the Cleveland Cavaliers, just to name a few.
