Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan punished a lot of opposing players during his illustrious NBA career. But perhaps, more memorably, he also tortured his teammates.

Longtime NBA fans are already properly aware of Jordan's physical confrontations with the Bulls' second unit guys like Steve Kerr and Will Purdue. But arguably, the Bulls player who Jordan really attacked was Toni Kukoc. At least in the beginning.

Jordan and Scottie Pippen, while with the Dream Team, memorably made life hell for Kukoc in the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. Kukoc, highly regarded as Europe's top player at that time, tried to lead Croatia past USA. But Jordan and Pippen alternated in hounding him all game, leading to a terrible outing.

The animosity of Jordan and Pippen toward the unsuspecting Kukoc was based on him getting a lucrative offer to join the Bulls, a deal much bigger that was given to Pippen. Of course, this irked His Airness. But Kukoc proved himself to be a valuable asset, helping the Bulls win three more NBA titles.

Now, Jordan and Bulls owner Jerry Reinsdorf will present Kukoc as he gets enshrined to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts 0n September 11.

Aside from Kukoc, other inductees include Chris Bosh, Paul Pierce, Ben Wallace, Chris Webber, Rick Adelman, Bob Dandridge, Jay Wright, Lauren Jackson, and Yolanda Griffith to name a few. Over 50 people are expected to attend, including presenters.

From hating to honoring, Michael Jordan's relationship with Toni Kukoc has sure come a long way.

The only question now is: Will we see another Crying Jordan?
