Bungie posted a job listing, indicating that the video game development studio might be working on a new game. However, it doesn't seem to be related to Bungie's successful Destiny series. Is Bungie finally ready to let go of the Destiny franchise, the same way they left Halo? What will this new IP be about?

“The Bungie Publishing team is looking for an experienced and creative Senior Marketing Manager to help drive awareness, sales, and growth for the next Bungie IP,” reads the job listing.”This role will work directly with our Senior Director of Sales and Marketing and our publishing teams to deliver strategic, data informed, and creative marketing campaigns that our active community of players and our potential new players will enjoy.”

Bonus skills included in the job listing has knowledge of PC and console gaming – which might indicate that the new IP will eventually come out to consoles as well. The new Bungie IP seems to also be a free-to-play, live-service game. We still have no idea what kind of game it would be like. No setting, no gameplay, nor any other clue has been out yet on the new Bungie IP. Hopefully, too, that this won't mean that the company will be leaving Destiny behind. We still want to see more stuff like Destiny Toasters in the future.
