The NFL Draft is looming this Thursday, and with the Arizona Cardinals owning the No. 1 overall pick, they have essentially been on the clock since the draft order was determined.

And it looks like the Cardinals are getting closer and closer to making their decision, if they haven't done so already.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Arizona will be holding its final meeting sometime within the next couple of days to discuss the top pick in the draft.

Rapoport adds that the Cardinals have also received calls from teams looking to trade up.

However, by this point, just about everyone seems to know what Arizona is going to do, as the general consensus is that the Cards will be taking University of Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray.

Of course, that would be a bit awkward for signal-caller Josh Rosen, whom the Cardinals selected with their first-round draft choice a year ago. So, you would have to assume that part of the discussions of this upcoming meeting will entail what the club will do with Rosen.

Most feel that Arizona will end up trading Rosen, as it's clear that if the Cards do, indeed, draft Murray, they do not view Rosen as the quarterback of the future, and it's pointless to have a 22-year-old first-round pick sitting on the bench forever.

While Rosen had a disappointing rookie year, throwing for 2,278 yards, 11 touchdowns and 14 interceptions over 12 starts, the Cardinals will surely find a team that will be willing to give him a chance. It's just a matter of finding the right deal.
