Being a popular player in any sports league is a little terrifying. The attention, obviously, is great, as well as the pay. However, there will often be fans who don't quite understand the concept of personal space. Or there are also crazy fans who will do anything to interact with their favorite players. For Arizona Cardinals safety Budda Baker, this scenario got way too real quickly.

Baker, the Cardinals' All-Pro safety, took to Twitter to warn fans about getting way too close to him. The reason for that is because Baker had an incident at his house where a fan followed his little sister to greet him.

The unfortunate reality of today's internet world is that information can easily be attained by people. That means that anyone can figure out a popular person's address off of the internet. For Baker, this may have come as a shock. The Cardinals safety was genuinely scared for his family's security, so much so that he lightly threatened anyone who considered doing this again.

Baker had a successful 2021 season with the Cardinals, helping solidify a secondary that was one of the better ones in the league. His exploits earned him second team All-Pro honors this year, along with an All-Pro selection. However, he and his team were unable to get it done when it mattered, as they lost to the eventual champions Los Angeles Rams in the Wild Card round.

This serves as a stern reminder to fans. No matter how much you idolize your players, remember that they are still human. Respect their privacy and their space just as you would for a friend or family member.
