Outside linebacker Chandler Jones has set the new all-time record for sacks in Arizona Cardinals history. While the feat is undoubtedly amazing, his celebration made it even more memorable.

After Jones got his 67th sack with the Cardinals to surpass former record-holder Freddie Joe Nunn (66.5), he celebrated in style by showing what he has prepared underneath his jersey. He knew he was on the verge of making history as they play the San Francisco 49ers in Week 9 on Sunday, which is why he made sure he has a way to honor the man who did it before him.

It was truly a special moment, especially since Freddie Joe Nunn passed away early this 2021. Nunn played for nine seasons for the Cardinals after the team selected him 18th overall in the 1985 draft.

Meanwhile, Jones is in his sixth season with Arizona after arriving via trade from the New England Patriots in 2016. Overall throughout his career, the 31-year-old vet has 103 sacks, even recording a league best 17 in 2017.

Jones has more sacks to make and should solidify his place further in the Cardinals' history books as the 2021 season goes on. However, it is certainly amazing to see him remember and pay tribute to one of the team's legends as he writes his own epic story.
