Arizona Cardinals team owner Michael Bidwill was among the latest to test positive for COVID-19. Bidwill was reportedly traveling in and around the East coast, which is where team officials suspect that he contracted the virus.

Bidwell had a major headache and fever, which is ultimately what forced him to get tested for the coronavirus. He admitted himself into a hospital in Rhode Island to monitor his condition and symptoms. Thankfully after a few days, the symptoms eventually subsided. He is well on his way to being cleared from confinement.

Bidwill had been working remotely since the breakout of the virus back in March. As of now, there's no indication that he spread the virus to any Cardinals coaches, players, or team officials.

According to the New York Times, the state of Arizona has seen over 117,000 positive cases with at least 2,000 confirmed deaths. Meanwhile, Rhode Island has garnered around 17,000 positive cases with the death toll nearing to a thousand cases.

Bidwill and the Cardinals are working towards giving back to the Arizona community in these hard times. The Cardinals owner previously donated $1 million to the AZ Coronavirus Relief Fund in March, one of the largest donations to the fund. His donation provided a big chunk of the total tally for their relief fund, which raised more than $8 million early on to support efforts in the state.

The NFL is currently working together with the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) to set the safety protocols to be observed. With three more weeks before training camps start, the league is also working on several adjustments to cater to the different situations per state.
