Arizona Cardinals linebacker Terrell Suggs spent the first 16 seasons of his NFL career with the Baltimore Ravens, and on Sunday, he will play against them, marking the first time a defensive player has ever battled a team with which he played his 16 years, according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com.

Suggs, who played his collegiate football at Arizona State, was originally selected by the Ravens with the 10th overall pick of the 2003 NFL Draft.

He immediately stamped his name among the best pass-rushers in the league, racking up 27 tackles, 12 sacks, an interception, five forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries during his rookie campaign. The following year, Suggs made his first Pro Bowl after registering 60 tackles, 10.5 sacks, a forced fumble and a couple of fumble recoveries.

Overall, Suggs made seven Pro Bowl appearances during his decorated tenure in Baltimore, also earning a First-Team All-Pro selection in 2011 courtesy of totaling 70 tackles, 14 sacks, a pair of interceptions, seven forced fumbles and six passes defended.

The 36-year-old logged seven double-digit sack seasons with the Ravens, most recently achieving the feat in 2017 when he finished with 49 stops, 11 sacks, four forced fumbles and four passes defended. During his final year in Baltimore in 2018, Terrell Suggs recorded 34 tackles, seven sacks, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, six passes defended and the first defensive touchdown of his career.

The Minneapolis, Mn. native then signed with the Cardinals back in March. He got his tenure with the club off to a great start this past Sunday, posting five tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble in what ended up being a 27-27 tie against the Detroit Lions.
