Cleveland Cavaliers guard Collin Sexton was at the receiving end of another tough loss after the Cavs were bested by the Miami Heat, 113-98. Sexton displayed grit following the contest, as he gave a reassuring statement to Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com.

“I will be in the gym early in the morning,” Sexton shared.

Collin Sexton finished the game with 21 points, a rebound, three dimes and a steal. He shot 41.2 percent from the field and a woeful 2-of-8 from deep. His Cavs backcourt partner Darius Garland also had a rough night.

This setback marked the team's fourth-straight loss, with one of those games being a 116-82 laugher at the hands of the New Orleans Pelicans. In an interview with Fedor as well, Larry Nance, Jr. voiced out his disappointment.

“Of course we’re frustrated,” Nance said. “All three teams being up by 20 at one point or another is frustrating. We get that. We’re frustrated too.”

One reason for the recent downtrend of the Cavs, according to Nance, has been the conditioning and health of players.

“But acclimating a guy that … I played 37 minutes tonight and hadn’t played for a full month.,” Nance stated. “Like, that is not easy for me. That’s not easy for Bull (Sexton). That’s not easy for Darius (Garland), Isaac [Okoro], Jarrett (Allen), P (JaVale McGee), Dean (Wade), there’s a lot of adjustments to be made. Just got some little adversity that we got to fight through. One thing you can count on: We’re not going to quit. We’re gonna figure this out. We’re gonna right this ship.”

If the Cavs are healthy and the roster is finalized, there may still be a chance for playoff basketball to return to The Land.
