The competition is ramping up as the Boston Celtics lead the Golden State Warriors 2-1 in the 2022 NBA Finals. Both teams have played peak basketball the last three games, but could off-court activities have caused the Warriors' to fall behind?

According to recent information obtained by Bleacher Report, this very well could be the case. The news outlet reports that “several Boston coaches” listen to every episode of Draymond Green's podcast. He's continued “The Draymond Green Show” into the playoffs and now the NBA Finals, inadvertently giving his opponents information.

An NBA assistant coach told Bleacher Report that “Both teams are definitely looking for any small advantage they possibly can…Especially with the amount of time between Finals games.”

Green has no intentions of giving out free information to the Celtics and doesn't think he's hurting his team by continuing his podcast. He explained why following the Warriors' Game 3 loss on Wednesday.

“I don't say much different on the podcast than what I say [in postgame press conferences],” Green said, quote courtesy of B/R.

Green has a point, he tends to express his emotions and speak his mind during and after games. What he says after that can't be too much different than what he's already publicized.

Regardless, the Celtics are definitely keeping a close ear on Green's podcast for the remainder of the 2022 NBA Finals. The series continues with Game 4 Friday night in Boston.
