The Boston Celtics made a big trade in the offseason as they acquired Malcolm Brogdon. They fill a void on the roster that seemed to be the missing piece for the organization's playoff run. Now, the franchise sets itself up nicely for the next season. This deal was so good, that it caught Draymond Green's eye immediately.

On video, the Golden State Warriors star forward shared his thoughts on the Celtics-Brogdon deal. In fact, he makes the claim it has the potential of being the “trade of the summer.” If that's the case, Boston should be a dangerous squad to play against in the upcoming season.

Green is stating facts here for the Celtics though. Throughout the postseason, the point guard position felt noticeably weak. Marcus Smart is a solid perimeter defender and did help Boston throughout the playoffs. However, with Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown being dominant scorers, they need versatility at the point guard position.

Malcolm Brogdon brings just that. He's a great passer and can score at will as well. Draymond Green has high expectations for the Celtics in the upcoming season and so should the rest of the league. Having Brogdon in the lineup makes Boston one of the most well-put-together rosters in the Eastern Conference.

Green nails it on the head with his breakdown of what Malcolm Brogdon brings to the Celtics. If he's excited about this trade, then so should Boston fans. Keep an eye on this team as the front office is clearly doing everything possible to get back to championship form.
