Playing for the Boston Celtics has plenty of draws. It is a storied franchise with an excellent history, and it is centered in a state known for sports dominance. The Red Sox, the Bruins, and the Patriots are all powerhouses with serious star power.

Now that center Enes Kanter is officially part of the Boston family, he is ready to meet arguably the biggest name in Boston sports right now: Tom Brady. Kanter declared his intentions to seek out the quarterback in a press conference on Wednesday.

Luckily for Kanter, he'll have plenty of chances. Brady is a vocal Celtics fan who is frequently spotted in TD Garden watching games when he is not tossing touchdowns down the street.

While he might not be in the same echelon as Brady star-power wise, the Celtics hope Kanter can bring some toughness and scoring to the new-look team.

Now that Kyrie Irving is gone, Kanter will be running most of his pick-and-rolls with newcomer Kemba Walker. The Turkish big man will vie with sophomore Robert Williams, rookie Grant Williams and Daniel Theis for most of the big man minutes.

If Enes Kanter can bring his bruising post play and a knack for grabbing offensive boards to the Celtics, he could turn heads fast. If he's lucky, Tom Brady might be looking to meet him soon enough.
