The Boston Celtics secured a 116-100 victory over the Golden State Warriors in Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday night. However, Boston nearly saw the win slip through their fingers. The Warriors, who were down by 12 points at the half, used an excellent third quarter to cut the deficit to four points heading into the contest's final period. Celtics head coach Ime Udoka wasn't about to let his team blow the lead, though.

Udoka had a simple- yet effective- message for the Celtics. Steve Bulpett of Heavy.com revealed Udoka's legendary, NSFW message to his team.

Udoka implored the Celtics to “stop playing like a**holes.” That is hilarious. He was clearly tired of watching Boston flounder in yet another third quarter, a period that has seemed to be their kryptonite in these playoffs- and NBA Finals.

While it is quite humorous to imagine the Celtics' reactions after hearing Udoka ask them to stop playing like rear ends, it shouldn't take away from the effectiveness of the buttons he pushed.

That's how Udoka is. He hasn't been afraid to call the Celtics out when they are playing lousy. And they respond to him.

Sometimes, all it takes is a gentle, you're-playing-like-a-butthead nudge for players to snap out of a funk. Clearly, Udoka knows exactly when the Celtics need to hear things like that.

With a 12-point lead cut down to four and the Warriors threatening to steal a pivotal Game 3, Udoka knew it was time.

Time to tell the Celtics to “stop playing like a**holes.” Round of applause for Ime Udoka, please.
